June 12, 2018
Sao Paulo- The Japanese government has delivered relief supplies to Guatemala, hit by volcanic eruptions of a mountain about 40 kilometers from its capital, Guatemala City.
On Sunday, Japan handed the Guatemalan government 10 power generators, 450 tents, 1,350 blankets and other items.
The eruptions at the Fuego volcano, which began on June 3, have left about 110 people dead and many others missing. Rescue workers are struggling because of thick ash covering the affected region. Jiji Press
