Japan Foreign Minister to Visit Americas from Saturday

Tokyo- Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono said Friday that he will visit Brazil, Argentina, the United States and Mexico for eight days from Saturday.
During the trip, Kono will attend a meeting of Group of 20 foreign ministers in Buenos Aires.
In the United States, he is arranging talks with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Kono aims to coordinate with Pompeo responses to issues related to North Korea, ahead of a U.S.-North Korea summit set for June 12 in Singapore, informed sources said. Jiji Press
