Japan, Norway agree to work to maintain rule of law
July 9, 2017
GERMANY- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his Norwegian counterpart, Erna Solberg, agreed Saturday to work together to maintain international order based on the rule of law.
The agreement reflected China's assertiveness in the East China Sea and the South China Sea.
Abe and Solberg were meeting in Hamburg, Germany, held on the sidelines of two-day summit talks through the same day of the Group of 20 major developed and emerging economies.
They reaffirmed the need to increase pressure on North Korea, which claimed this week a successful launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile. (Jiji Press)
