Japan revises down coincident index in Oct.

Tokyo- Japan's Cabinet Office said Monday it has revised down the composite index of coincident economic indicators for October.
The revised coincident CI, which reflects current economic conditions, stood at 116.4 against 100 for the base year of 2010, down from 116.5 in the preliminary report announced earlier this month. The index was up 0.2 point from the previous month, compared with the preliminary reading of a 0.3-point rise.
The leading CI, a yardstick for the economy's performance months ahead, was unchanged from November at 106.5. In the preliminary report, the index fell 0.4 point to 106.1. Jiji Press
