Japan Urges Iran to Continue Implementing Nuclear Deal

Tokyo- Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono, in phone talks with his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, on Thursday, urged Tehran to continue implementing the 2015 nuclear deal.
On the United States' recent decision to pull out of the nuclear accord between Iran and six world powers, Kono told Zarif that Japan remains supportive of the agreement.
Zarif explained his country's position to Kono.
