Japanese Lawmakers to Support UN Crime Congress in Kyoto

Tokyo- Nearly 100 Japanese ruling coalition lawmakers met in Tokyo Wednesday to form a group aiming at supporting the UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Crime Justice in Kyoto, western Japan, in April 2020.
The Crime Congress "should be the base for building a society where the rule of law is well established, "former Justice Minister Sadakazu Tanigaki, who became special adviser to the lawmakers' group, said in a speech.

The Group Brings Together 94 Lawmakers, Led By Yoko Kamikawa, A Member Of The Liberal Democratic Party And A Former Justice Minister.
