Japan’s Princess Mako Off to Brazil for Immigration Anniv.

Tokyo- Japan's Princess Mako left for Brazil on Tuesday to attend ceremonies marking the 110th anniversary of the arrival of first Japanese immigrants in the South American nation.
Princess Mako, the first child of Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko, and the eldest grandchild of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, will visit Sao Paulo and Maringa to attend related ceremonies.
She is also scheduled to visit the Amazon region afterward.
The princess will return home on July 31. Jiji Press
