October 29, 2020
Tokyo- Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held phone talks on Wednesday.
In the talks, which lasted some 20 minutes, the leaders confirmed that their countries will cooperate in responding to the coronavirus pandemic and other issues.
They may also have exchanged opinions about military clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
It was the first time for the two to hold talks since Suga took office last month to succeed Shinzo Abe.
