Landslide-hit section on Chuo Expressway reopens

GIFU- A traffic ban for a landslide-hit section in Gifu Prefecture on the Chuo Expressway was lifted on Sunday morning.

Emergency recovery work was finished 34 hours after a slope near the Tokyo-bound lanes in the section between the Mizunami Interchange and the Ena Interchange in central Japan collapsed, according to Central Nippon Expressway Co. Jiji Press
