LDP bigwig Kato to visit US from April 29

Tokyo-Japanese ruling party heavyweight Katsunobu Kato told a press conference Tuesday that he will make a trip to the United States from April 29 to May 3.

Kato, chairman of the General Council of the Liberal Democratic Party, plans to visit Kentucky and Illinois to hold talks with their governors and exchange opinions with officials of Japanese companies operating in the states. Jiji Press
