N. Korea fires ballistic missile again

SEOUL- North Korea fired a ballistic missile from a site near Pukchang in the central part of the country around 4:59 p.m. Sunday (7:59 a.m. GMT), according to the South Korean military.
The missile is believed to have flown about 500 kilometers. The military is analyzing details, including the type of the missile.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in called for the standing committee of the country's national security council to be convened.
In Tokyo, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told a press conference that North Korea launched a ballistic missile, adding that it is believed to have fallen into a point outside Japan's exclusive economic zone in the Sea of Japan. (Jiji Press)
