N. Korean Diplomat to Attend Security Meeting in Moscow

Tokyo- A counsellor at the North Korean embassy in Russia will attend a meeting on Northeast Asian security, a source at Nagasaki University's Research Center for Nuclear Weapons Abolition said Tuesday.
The meeting, set to take place in Moscow for two days from May 31, will be hosted by the university. The gathering, the third of its kind, will have a North Korean diplomat for the first time.
The counsellor, scheduled to show up on May 31, is expected to discuss the country's views on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and other issues.
The meeting will also be attended by Moon Chung-in, a special adviser to South Korean President Moon Jae-in for unification, foreign and national security affairs. Jiji Press
