June 14, 2017
Tokyo- Japanese labor authorities on Wednesday sent papers on H.I.S. Co. and two sales executives at the major travel agency for allegedly forcing two employees to work illegally long hours.
The labor ministry's Tokyo Labor Bureau turned the papers over to the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office.
H.I.S. and the two officials are suspected of forcing the two employees to work overtime in excess of the limit set under a management-labor agreement between June and September 2015, in violation of the labor standards law. (Jiji Press)
