Honolulu- Visiting Japanese Prince Akishino and his wife, Princess Kiko, attended a ceremony celebrating the 150th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Hawaii, in Honolulu on Thursday.

"Japanese-Americans in Hawaii can take real pride in their outstanding service in helping to build the thriving community here, especially in overcoming hardships during the Second World War," Prince Akishino said in English.
