Tokyo- Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga called on the South Korean government on Tuesday not to easily accept North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's request for a visit to his country by South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
"North Korea continues its nuclear and missile development programs," Suga said at a press conference. "South Korea shouldn't fall for North Korea's 'smile diplomacy."
Four types of missile that are believed to be the same ballistic missiles launched by North Korea last year were seen in a large-scale military parade conducted in Pyongyang on Thursday, Suga said.
"This is the reality of North Korea," he added.
