U.S. Rep. for N. Korea to Visit Japan, China, S. Korea

Washington- U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun will visit Japan, China and South Korea for six days from Monday, the State Department said Thursday.
Biegun will discuss with his counterparts in the Asian countries their efforts toward the denuclearization of North Korea.
This will be the first trip to the Asian countries for Biegun since he assumed the role of special representative last month.
He was originally scheduled to visit North Korea in late August with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The trip was cancelled at the last minute by President Donald Trump. Jiji Press
