Yamaha Motor to exhibit owner-recognizing bike

TOKYO- Yamaha Motor Co. has said that it will exhibit a prototype of a motorcycle equipped with functions, including recognizing its owner, for world premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show.
MOTOROiD will be among the 20 vehicles to be displayed at the event, which is set to start on Oct. 27.
The exhibits will also include a design concept four-wheeled vehicle model, with Yamaha Motor aiming to enter the automobile market by 2020.
MOTOROiD is loaded with Yamaha Motor's latest artificial intelligence technology, and machine control and authentication systems. The prototype allows its owner to feel as if he or she is interacting with the vehicle, according to company officials. Jiji Press
