Enchanted Kingdom amusement park will open before Oct 25: mayor

The 25-hectare Enchanted Kingdom amusement park in Santa Rosa City in Laguna will reopen before October 25 after seven months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic , Mayor Arlene Arcillas said Friday

“Definitely it will open before October 25 where it will be the (25th) anniversary of Enchanted Kingdom," Arcillas told  Teleradyo.

Arcillas inspected Enchanted Kingdom last Sept. 30 as she checked health safety protocols put in place by its  management to protect customers from COVID-19.

“Anyone can visit as long as we set protocols,'' said Arcillas.

Santa Rosa City has at least 2,430 COVID-19 cases with 39 deaths. Laguna is one of provinces often appearing in the Department of Health's top provinces by newly-announced cases. DMS
