HYOGO PREF.- A 30-meter-high Christmas tree is lit up during a lighting ceremony at the port of Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, Saturday night, Saturday, December 2, 2017.
The 24-ton hiba arborvitae, placed as a symbol of reconstruction of areas devastated by earthquakes, is taller than last year's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York, according to organizers of the Kobe tree project. Jiji Press
