Prince Akishino, Princess Kiko Attend Green Festival Ceremony

Tokyo- Japanese Prince Akishino and his wife, Princess Kiko, attended on Saturday a ceremony for an annual festival of forests and flowers, held in Tokyo.

"It is important for us to interact with nature and feel gratitude for it," said Prince Akishino, honorary president of the festival, in his speech.

Before the ceremony, the couple congratulated winners of awards given for years of greenery efforts. Jiji Press
