Victims Remembered 25 Years after Kobe Earthquake
Some 5,000 bamboo lanterns are lit to form lines reading a Japanese word meaning "remember" as well as "1.17" during a memorial ceremony for the earthquake in Higashi-Yuenchi Park in Kobe, western Japan, Friday, Jan. 17, 2020.
