14 PNP personnel die from COVID-19

Fourteen cops have died from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) , according to the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday.
In their latest data,a 45-year-old member of the Aviation Security Group (Avsegroup) died last August 12.
The number of infected cops is at 3, 098 with 2, 258 recoveries.
The highest number of latest COVID-19 cases were from National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) at 36, fifteen at the national support units, followed by Calabarzon with five, Central Luzon with three, two from Camp Crame, one in Mimaropa and one in Western Visayas.
Around 3,151 police officers are being monitored after they showed symptoms and had contact with people positive for COVID-19. Ella Dionisio/DMS
