19 injured as 17 vehicles collide at C5 Ortigas flyover

At least 17 vehicles collided on Tuesday northbound at C5 Ortigas flyover, leaving 19 people injured and which resulted to heavy three hour traffic. According to an initial report, a ten-wheeler truck lost control of its brakes at 10:22 am. and hit other vehicles, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said. MMDA said the northbound Ortigas flyover was closed to vehicles, with only one lane was passable to south bound. Vehicles had to pass though EDSA until the area was cleared at 1:16 pm.
