2 hurt in Zamboanga City fire

Two people were wounded when a fire gutted a house in Zamboanga City early Thursday.
Chief Insp. Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office 9 Public Affairs Chief, said the fire incident transpired at Purok 11, Pitogo, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City at about 3:10am.
She said the fire allegedly started from an unattended lighted candle at the house owned by certain Benjar Majid, 35.
Galvez said the fire, which was put out at around 4:30am on the same day, burned ten residential houses made of light materials.
She said the two victims identified as Arman Alih, and Shaina Mae Majid, both suffered second-degree burns on the different parts of their bodies.
The properties damaged has reached around P250,000. Robina Asido/DMS
