32 killed, 107 arrested as firearms, grenades and illegal drugs seized in Bulacan

Thirty-two persons were killed while 109 illegal drugs suspects were arrested as grenades, numerous illegal drugs, firearms and ammunition were recovered in the simultaneous operation by Bulacan police on 12 midnight of August 15, to 12 midnight of August 16
In a statement on Wednesday, Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat Jr., provincial police director of Bulacan said 67 simultaneous operations were conducted by 24 police stations in the province, including the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Branch and Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) to continue with the drive against illegal drugs, loose firearms and implementation of search warrant.
A total of 367 pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu approximately weighing 234.4292 grams; 765 grams of marijuana leaves; 2 grenades: 34 assorted firearms; 114pieces of ammunitions were recovered during the implementation of 49 buy-bust operations; 14 search warrants and three checkpoint operations.
