3,483 new COVID-19 cases reported

The Department of Health (DOH) said Tuesday 3,483 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases were reported, bringing the total to 224,264.
Active cases reached 62, 655 of which 91.3 percent were mild, asymptomatic 6.3 percent, critical 1.4 percent and severe 1 percent.
Of the new cases, majority came from the National Capital Region (NCR) with 1,824.
Thirty-nine deaths were reported, with 18 coming from the NCR. Total deaths from COVID-19 reached 3,597.
The DOH said 464 new recoveries were recorded among COVID-19 patients, pushing the total to 158,012. DMS
