4, 650 new COVID-19 cases, says DOH

The Department of Health (DOH) said Wednesday there were 4,650 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19)cases, bringing total cases to 173,774.
One hundred and eleven patients died from COVID-19, said the DOH. Total deaths are at 2,795.
Active cases were 57, 498 of which 91.4 percent were mild, the DOH said. Asymptomatic cases reached 6.5 percent, critical 1.2 percent and severe 0.9 percent.
The National Capital Region accounted for 3,092 of the new cases followed by Cavite 249, Laguna 194, Rizal 189 and Bulacan 136.
These five areas are now under general community quarantine starting Wednesday after being in modified enhanced community quarantine for two weeks.
There were 716 patients who recuperated from COVID-19 which brought total recoveries to 113, 481. DMS
