4 suspected drug dealers, police commando killed in Tawi-tawi encounter

Four alleged drug dealers and a police commando were killed while three others were wounded in a shootout with Bongao, Tawi-Tawi Tuesday.
Police Brig. Gen. Marni Marcos, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) director, said Special Action Force personnel were about to raid the lair of Ibno Suhud Jaani after a sting by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives when suspects opened fire.
The clash took place in Barangay Luuk Pandan at around 3:30 a.m., Marcos said in a text message.
Suhud and his three accomplices were killed on the spot. Police Staff Sergeant John Ventura died during fighting.
Three other SAF identified as Staff Sgts. Liberato Antang and Feler Perito, and Corporal Diomar Tibor were wounded.
Police operatives seized 50 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P340,000 from the suspects. DMS
