5.2 magnitude quake recorded in Nasugbu, Batangas

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Nasugbu, Batangas Tuesday afternoon.
In its bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded 27 kilometers southwest of Nasugbu at a depth of 118 kilometers. It said the quake will not cause any damage but aftershocks are expected.
The quake was strongest at Intensity IV in Lubang and Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro.
It was felt at Intensity III in Buco, Talisay, Tumaway and Calatagan, Batangas; Quezon City; Clark, Pampanga; Mandaluyong City; Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro; Looc and Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro; and Tanza and Maragondon, Cavite
It was also felt at Intensity II in Manila City; Plaridel and Malolos, Bulacan; and Parañaque City
Based on instrumental intensities, the quake was felt at Intensity III in Malolos, Bulacan; Calatagan, Batangas; Tagaytay City; and Cavite City.
It was also felt at Intensity II in Marikina City; Navotas City; San Ildefonso, Bulacan; Talisay, Batangas; and Intensity I in Las Pinas City, Pasig City, Quezon City, Bacoor in Cavite, Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija, and Guagua in Pampanga. Ella Dionisio/DMS
