518 new COVID-19 cases reported, total now 22,292

Five hundred and eighteen new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases were reported by the Department of Health (DOH) Tuesday, raising the total to
22,992 cases.
Of the newly-reported cases, a total of 280 are considered ''fresh cases", were tests results are given to patients in the last three days.
The DOH said 238 others are identified as "late cases", which are test results four days ago or more but which were recently validated.
Six deaths were recorded, bringing to 1,017 the total number of COVID-19 deaths.
Ninety-nine persons survived COVID-19, bringing total recoveries to 4,736 patients. DMS
