6 dead, 4 hurt in Antipolo multiple-vehicle collision

Six people died while four others were injured in multiple-vehicle collision in Antipolo City last Saturday.

According to Calabarzon Police Regional Office, the incident transpired around 3:40pm along Sumulong Highway, in Barangay Mambugan, Antipolo City.

Initial investigation disclosed that the two jeepneys and a truck were all traversing Sumulong Highway coming from Antipolo proper heading towards the Masinag direction when a trailer truck accidentally bumped the two jeepneys.

The incident resulted to the death of six passengers.

According to Antipolo City Police Community Precinct 1, the truck driver escaped after the incident.
