6 hurt as three six-wheeler trucks collide in NLEX

Six persons were injured in a collision of three six-wheeler trucks at the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) on Friday morning.
Angelo Angeles, NLEX Traffic Control Room specialist said in a phone interview with the Daily Manila Shimbun, the three trucks collided at NLEX Santa Rita southbound at 7:30 am.
Angeles said the six injured includes two truck drivers and four passengers.
The accident caused a 30 to 45 minute traffic build up in Santa Rita southbound but the trucks were removed immediately, he said.
He said the cause of the accident is being investigated and the three truck drivers are under the custody of the Philippine National Police. Alanna Ambi/DMS
