73-year-old Japanese dies in Laguna

A 73-year-old Japanese died in Laguna last Thursday night.

According to the initial report from Sta Cruz Municipal Police Station, Tadashi Maruyama around 8:40pm was heard asking for help by people outside his house at Villa Josefina, Barangay Calios in Sta. Cruz.

Residents immediately responded and saw Maruyama bloodied, the police report said.

Residents called the Municipal Disaster Risk and Management Office who brought Maruyama to rthe Laguna Medical Center. The attending physician declared Maruyama dead on arrival.

Based on the initial check on Maruyama's body, police did not found any wounds.

Authorities are still waiting for the autopsy  to determine the cause of  death. Ella Dionisio/DMS
