95-year-old Mandaluyong man recovers from COVID-19

Cresencio Junio, a 95-year-old man in Mandaluyong recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Sunday.
Mandaluyong Mayor Menchu Abalos and her husband, former mayor Benhur, led people in welcoming Junio, who was in a wheelchair, as he was brought out of the Mandaluyong Medical City.
"Congratulations, you gave hope to everyone," said the mayor.
Junio was brought home in an ambulance.
He was confined at the hospital on March 20, tested negative on April but decided to stay to fully recover, said Mandaluyong City public information officer Jimmy Isidro.
COVID-19 had killed 16 patients in Mandaluyong, where 162 residents have tested positive for the virus. DMS
