A Canadian national was killed in a shooting incident in Pasay City on Monday night

In a report, the public information office of the Southern Police District said the incident transpired along the EDSA extension near the corner of Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City around 6:30 pm.
The police report said the victim was Nanthakumaran Kumarasamy, 55, a married Canadian national residing in Parañaque City.
Based on initial report the victim was driving his vehicle with his wife Irene on their way home when they stopped due to traffic.
The unidentified suspect appeared the driver side and shot the victim who sustained wound son the left part of his neck.
“After the incident the suspect fled towards unknown direction while the victim was brought by Pasay City Rescue Team to San Juan De Dios Hospital for treatment, but he was declared dead on arrival (DOA) by attending physician Amado Flores,” the report stated. Robina Asido/DMS
