Alleged BIFF bomb maker killed in law enforcement operation in Maguindanao

An alleged bomb maker of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters was killed in a joint operation of the police and military in Maguindanao last night.
Chief Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao police director, identified the suspect as Ebrahim Ali, 49 and a resident of Brgy. Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat.
Police said he is identified as a bomb making instructor of BIFF under Karialan Faction.
Initial report disclosed that around 7:15pm, while members of Crime Investigation and Detection Group- Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao and 603rd Infantry Brigade were serving an arrest warrant, Ali pulled out his gun, prompting enforcers to shoot him.
Authorities recovered a caliber .45 firearm, one magazine and 5 ammunition from the place of incident.
