Alleged MILF member, cohort busted in Maguindanao

An alleged member of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and his cohort were arrested during a buy-bust operation that resulted in the seizure of  one million pesos worth of suspected shabu in Maguindanao on Thursday.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron Aquino identified the suspects as Mail Guiamad Kamid alias Mayon, 43 years old, an alleged member of MILF, and Thor Dalundong Sela, who were arrested by elements of PDEA Regional Office ARMM under  Director Juvenal Azurin along the National Highway, Poblacion Dalican, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

Confiscated during the operation were four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu,  weighing more or less 175 grams, two identification cards, one mobile phone and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. DMS
