Angat Dam level hits low-level mark: Pagasa

Angat Dam on Thursday breached the low-level mark of 160 meters, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.
As of 6 am, the dam's water level fell to 160.73 meters, considered as critical level for domestic water supply. This is 19.27 meters off from its minimum operating water level of 180 meters.
NWRB on Tuesday reduced water allocation to the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), which supplies to Metro Manila water concessionaires, from standard 46 cubic meters per second to 40 cubic meters per second.
