The Army General Hospital received medical supplies donated by Makati Medical Center Foundation (MMCF) in a turnover ceremony in Fort Bonifacio on Thursday.
Col. Ramon Zagala, Philippine Army spokesman, said Army General Hospital Commanding Officer Col. Joel Enrico Anastacio received 25 wheelchairs, three walkers, forearm and underarm crutches, and 100 psychosocial Kits.
Zagala said "Anastacio acknowledged and thanked the donors from MMCF, Steraclean Corporation, and Philippine Airlines volunteers for their effort of promoting and supporting Philippine Army personnel’s health and welfare."
"Soldiers who were previously and are currently catered by the Army General Hospital will benefit from the said donations," he added.
"The Philippine Army continues to partner with other stakeholders to uplift the well being of wounded troops in line with the command’s thrust of “leaving no man behind", he added. Robina Asido/DMS
