Around P1.2 million worth of marijuana confiscated from student in QC

Around P1.2 million worth of marijuana was confiscated from a student in a bus terminal in Quezon City through a joint operation of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Quezon City Police District (QCPD) early Thursday morning.
According to Public Information Officer III Blaine Canlas of PDEA-NCR, the operation was conducted at ES Transport Terminal along EDSA Cubao, Quezon City around 5:40 am.
Arrested was a certain Karlo Jose Pio Ricafrente, 24.
Confiscated from him were marijuana bricks, weighing around 10 kilograms with standard drug price of P 1,200,000.
Ricafrente will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ella Dionisio/DMS
