Authorities nab 12 suspects, seize P20 million suspected shabu, marijuana in Taguig

Authorities confiscated around P20 million worth of suspected shabu and marijuana from 12 suspects during a buy-bust operation in Taguig City Wednesday afternoon.
Brig. General Emmanuel Peralta, director of the Southern Police District (SPD), said the operation was conducted around 5:30 pm at Barangay Ususan.
Peralta said validation and surveillance was conducted by SPD's intelligence personnel before the operation.
Confiscated were 30 pieces plastic with suspected shabu amounting to P20,400,000 and 27 pieces sachets of dried marijuana leaves worth P50,040.
Suspects are detained at Taguig City Police Station Custodial Facility and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Ella Dionisio/DMS
