Baguio court orders arrest of six involved in PMA cadet murder

BAGUIO CITY– A Baguio court has ordered the arrest of three former cadets and three doctors at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) earlier indicted for murder and hazing of fourth class cadet Darwin Dormitorio.
Baguio City Regional Trial Court branch 3 Judge Maria Ligaya Itliong-Rivera ordered the arrest of former 3rd class cadets Felix Lumbag Jr., Shalimar Imperial Jr. and PMA Hospital doctors Lt. Col. Ceasar Candelaria, Major Ma. Ofelia Beloy and Captain Flor Apple Apostol.
The court allowed the three PMA hospital doctors to post bail at P200,000 each, it did not recommend any bail for Lumbag Jr. and Imperial Jr., who also had another warrant of arrest for hazing.
Former third class cadet Julius Carlo Tadena, also indicted for hazing, was ordered arrested by the court, which did not recommend any bail.
Baguio City police director Col. Allen Rae Co said the three cadets, who had been discharged from the Corps of Cadets of the AFP (CCAFP) will be “transferred” to the Baguio City jail from a stockade at Camp Aguinaldo.
