Bello flies to Dubai to visit Filipina in UAE death row

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III will leave for the United Arab Emirates on February 28 to see Jennifer Darquez, a worker who was sentenced to death for killing her employer in December 2014.

"I will be going to Dubai and see if we could still save one of our OFWs who is in the death row again," said Bello.

Darquez’s family early  this month  sought the help of the Duterte administration in removing Jennifer from UAE death row after she was found guilty last May 2015.

Last month, Bello flew to Kuwait after Jakatia Pawa was executed to visit her and check on another Filipino in death row. DMS
