Bicameral conference committee approves Bayanihan to Recover as One Act

The bicameral conference committee approved the final version of the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act on Thursday, dzBB radio said.

Both the Senate and House hope to ratify the bicameral report this afternoon.

The bill set aside P140 billion for government programs to help Filipinos affected by the coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) epidemic.

The standby amount will be P 25 billion. DMS
