Big chunk of new COVID-19 cases from NCR

The Department of Health (DOH) said Monday 1,521 new coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) were reported, where 1,237 came from the National Capital Region,

Total cases are now 68,898, of which active cases are 43, 991. Among active cases, mild incidents account for 90.6 percent, 8.5 asymptomatic, 0.4 percent severe and 0.5 percent critical.

No breakdown of cases in the NCR was available as of posting time.

Four deaths were reported, raising the tally to 1,835 while recoveries reached 607 for a total of 23, 072. DMS
