Cavite police arrest 3, seize P1.3m worth of illegal drugs

Cavite police on Wednesday confiscated P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs from three high value targets in General Trias City.

Police Col. Marlon Santos, Cavite provincial director, said the suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Manggahan, General Trias City.

Santos said the three suspects connived with each other in dealing with a police operative who acted as poseur buyer.

Confiscated were around 200 grams of suspected shabu with estimated street value of P 1,300,000.

Suspects were brought to the police station for appropriate filing of violations on Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 before the Office of Provincial Prosecutors Office while evidence were sent to Cavite provincial crime laboratory for chemical analysis. Ella Dionisio/DMS
