Cebu town mayor shot dead inside office

A Cebu town mayor who is said to be in the government's list of local politicians involved in illegal drugs was shot dead inside his office Wednesday morning, police said,
In preliminary report, watchmen of Ronda municipality told police they saw the body of Mayor Mariano Blanco at the mayor's office in Barangay Poblacion after they heard gunshots. The watchmen said armed men has told them to lie on the ground at 1:30 am before the shooting. DMS
