January 27, 2018
A Chinese woman kidnapped in Pasay City last Thursday escaped on Friday from her captors who were seeking P2 million in ransom, police said Saturday.
Liu Shan Shan, 28, bolted free around 6:20 a.m. at a resort in Barangay Bucana in Ternate, Cavite where she was brought by her kidnappers.
Senior Superintendent William Segun, Cavite provincial police director, said the suspects are two Chinese nationals and a Filipino. The identities and whereabouts remain unknown.
Segun has no information about Liu's abduction as her case was turned over to the Philippine National Police's Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG).
A security official said Liu was kidnapped at around 8 p.m. on Thursday at the lobby of a condominium building in Pasay City where she and her husband are staying. DMS
