COVID-19 cases among PNP reach 112

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said they recorded additional three more cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) among their personnel, bringing the total to 112.
The PNP Health Service said out of the total 112 PNP confirmed COVID-19 cases, seventeen have recovered, three earlier succumbed while 92 active cases are undergoing supportive healthcare.
It said the 92 active cases are undergoing strict observation and medical attention by PNP doctors.
Out of the total, sixty-eight patients are in quarantine facilities, five are in hospitals, and 19 are home quarantined with continuous support and observation.
Among new confirmed cases were a 48-year-old male officer from Paranaque City; a 29-year-old male officer from San Juan City; and a 32-year-old male officer assigned in the National Capital Region.
At present, a total of 1,063 PNP personnel, composed of 375 Probable PUIs, 686 Suspected PUIs, and two confirmed positive patients have completed self or home quarantine under strict monitoring and medical observation. Ella Dionisio/DMS
