Crocodile attacks fisherman in Palawan

A fisherman was injured after he was attacked by a crocodile in Balabac, Palawan last Thursday.
Mimaropa (MIndoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) regional police said Janilon Daking Amalong, 25, was with his uncle fishing at Sitio Silom-Silom, Barangay Catagupan in Balabac around 1 am when he was attacked by the crocodile while using a spear gun.
Amalong was rushed to the hospital after he suffered injuries to his head and left eye.
Police said he was brought to the regional health unit of Balabac before he was transferred to Puerto Princesa City for medical treatment. Ella Dionisio/DMS
